Who are SIMI Partners?
The SIMI Partner Scheme is the general name for any arrangement between SIMI and an organisation with whom SIMI works with to fulfill SIMI's mission and vision. This also includes corporate organisations who may not provide any service relating to mediation but are users who strongly support SIMI's activities and work. There is a wide variety of activities that SIMI Partners are involved with and you will find general information about all different types of SIMI Partners here.
SIMI Registered Training Program (SIMI RTP)
Key Features:
- Able to conduct training and assessment leading to SIMI Accredited Mediator Level 1.
- Able to submit names of successful participants to become SIMI Accredited Mediator Level 1.
- An organisation is allowed to have more than one course recognised as a SIMI RTP.
Organisations interested to have one or more of their courses recognised as a SIMI RTP must apply directly to SIMI. More information about the application requirements, process and the list of current SIMI RTPs are available here.
SIMI Registered Service Provider (SIMI RSP)
Key Features:
- Able to record and verify mediation sessions conducted for the purposes of satisfying the experience requirement under the SIMI Credentialing Scheme, for attaining SIMI Accredited Mediator Level 2 and SIMI Accredited Mediator Level 3.
- Able to submit names for SIMI Accredited Mediator Level 2 and SIMI Accredited Mediator Level 3.
- SIMI RSPs have the option of also offering one or more SIMI RTPs, although this is not a compulsory requirement of SIMI RSPs.

SIMI Qualifying Assessment Program (SIMI QAP)
Key Features:
- Able to carry out same function as SIMI RSPs.
- Able to offer one or more SIMI RTPs.
- Only SIMI Partner able to record and verify mediation sessions for the purposes of satisfying the experience requirement under the SIMI Credentialing Scheme, for attaining SIMI Certified Mediator.

SIMI Supporter
SIMI Supporters are organisations who have aided SIMI in our mission and work but do not run a SIMI RTP nor are they a SIMI RSP or SIMI QAP. They may have contributed knowledge and expertise or donated funds towards developing one or more of SIMI's missions.
