Changes To SIMI's Board Of Directors

SIMI wishes to announce the following changes to the Board of Directors with effect from 1 November 2015:

(a) the stepping down of Mr Poon Hong Yuen as Director of SIMI; and

(b) the appointment of Mr Han Kok Juan as Director of SIMI.

The SIMI Board of Directors would like to extend their deepest gratitude, thanks and appreciation to Mr Poon Hong Yuen for his many contributions to SIMI during his tenure. As one of the key persons involved during the set-up of SIMI, his expertise and contributions have helped SIMI to grow to where it is today.

The SIMI Board of Directors would like to welcome Mr Han Kok Juan to the Board. SIMI looks forward to tapping on Mr Han's expertise in further developing SIMI's work.

(a) the stepping down of Mr Michael Leathes as Director of SIMI; and

(b) the appointment of Ms Irena Vanenkova as Director of SIMI.

The SIMI Board of Directors would like to extend their deepest gratitude, thanks and appreciation to Mr Michael Leathes for his many contributions to SIMI during his tenure. His wealth of experience, wisdom and guidance were invaluable to the development of SIMI.

The SIMI Board of Directors would like to welcome Ms Irena Vanenkova to the Board. She brings to SIMI her deep knowledge and operational expertise from her role as Executive Director of the International Mediation Institute.
